Manhattan Race comments

Track and Field Videos on Flotrack

Jake Riff- a very solid race- but just solid- you guys have to learn to get on stage and boogie- today we just ran- don’t sell yourself short- be great- today was good.

Dan Riff- similar to your brother- you have to learn to be bolder if you’re going to emerge as a top level guy- nonetheless I’m very happy with the way you and Jake are approaching your running.

Dan Sheldon- You got out in mid pack position- this haunted you for the rest of the race- you’re not a mid-pack runner- if you’re going to be our number 1 guy than you have to get out with the numero uneros.  Again- you had a very solid race- but if we’re going to make this season memorable we have to walk out to the other side.

Schoepfer- best race of the season- ignore the finish time and place- you attacked with aggression and fought hard- continue to do so!!!

Karthik- don’t pass up opportunities like this.

Glen- I’m so proud of your development- there’s no point in getting into the VIP room if you’re not ready to party.

Judson- great performance in a tough course!

Callahan-perhaps the best race of the day- you raced hard from the gun! Very tough!!!

Vinci- when did you get so good>?

George Hamilton-best XC race of your career- you’re a talented great guy- your improvement is directly related to your commitment.

Niv-solid race- you’re emerging as not only a very solid runner- but a good leader.

Soskind- you got out great and paid for it- so be it- you’ll race better next time- great work.

Abith- you may be the most improved runner on the team- period.

Prathik- your best XC race to date- all the work is beginning to pay off.

Albert-very solid race- how good can you get in the next 2 weeks?

Matt-you led us- very good race- you behaved great out there.

Schofield- you’re going to be a great runner.

Eddison-awesome job- more than anything you wanted to be here and had fun- be that guy every day.

Jeff-I think you were intimidated out there- don’t be – you’re good- be yourself- be good.

Caroline – Great effort, awesome start.  Dropped 10 seconds from last year.  Solid through the first 800, keeping the lead girl in your sight.  Fantastic finish, burying the competition behind you and never looking back.  Keep up the great work!

Ingrid – Great race, great start, great finish.  Keep using your strength and speed but watch the middle of your race, stay forward and keep pushing.  Very proud of your efforts, keep it up!

Shelbs – Solid effort, you dropped 12 seconds from last year.  Don’t let go of Ingrid and bring May with you.  You guys are an awesome 2, 3, 4 punch.  Awesome leadership, keep it up!

May – Good race kiddo, but get up there with Shelby and Ingrid where you belong.  Believe in yourself and your fitness and get out from the start!

Xinran – Unbelievable!  You dropped just over 2 minutes from last year!  All the hard work and training is certainly paying off!  This is the Xinran we’ve been waiting to see.  Keep up the good work!

Lisa – Solid race, but don’t be afraid to push a little harder.  Watch your start, you got muddled up in the middle of the pack.  We look to you, Nicole, and Xinran to be the backbone of the team, so get up there where you belong!

Crossey – Good effort, you dropped 25 seconds from last year, way to go.  Be careful on the start, use your speed, get out where you belong.  Stay on your toes through the finish, don’t let yourself get stagnant.  Keep pushing with Lisa!

Nana – Great race despite the crazy start.  Way to use your speed to fly out in front.  Once you were there, you just held on!  You’re right there with Lisa and Nicole, keep pushing!

Cai Cai – Let’s refocus our efforts and find the strength and stamina that you have spent all summer building.  Don’t be afraid to push a little harder and get back up towards the front where you belong.  Awesome finish, passing 16 girls, but let’s try and stretch that same effort and attitude over the rest of the course.

Nora – Solid effort.  I’m proud of the progress you’ve made this year.

Yvonne – Good racing, again despite the awful start.  Let’s work on getting more focused in the middle of the race, and hang on to Nora and the girls just in front of you.

Donnelly – Rough start, but not really your fault.  We have to continue to work on the breathing difficulties, because Katie, you’ve got the tools, we just need to use them.  Don’t be afraid to push yourself!

Sari – The start didn’t go as planned, but don’t give up heart.  Keep pushing onward, you’ve worked so hard to get this far.  Still another month to the season, so let’s make it count!

Millie – Great effort.  I’m so proud of the hard work you put in everyday.  Keep up the great attitude.

Mike Judson – got out great and hung in well until the last 600, you’ll learn to concentrate and become hungrier the last 800- grab some spikes and keep learning.  You have a tremendous future ahead of you.

Jake Riff- got out reasonably well- you guys race as well as any athletes I’ve coached.  Once you commit to being tough EVERY DAY you’ll breakthrough to the elite level.  The will to win is nothing without the will to prepare.

Dan Riff- See above- you got out great- if you look at the race footage your chin was creeeping up- this closes the windpipe and throws off your posture- keep the head neutral- even yours is very heavy…hahaha- lets get agter it.

Markan- got out horribly- I think you let the stomach thing get in your way- for every reason you don’t have to succeed there are a million other reasons you can- don’t allow excuses to prevent you from reaching your potential.  You’re too good for this- your becoming a leader on this team- take us to the top.

Karthik- you had one of the greatest summers in Pirate History- whats the point of getting all dolled up for the prom if you’re not going to do some dancing? Get out there and shake it.

Prathik- I’d love to know whats going on in that brain of yours- key off one of your teammates and STAY WITH THEM- you’ll surprise yourself.

Maeda- last season you started well and finished rough- this year will be different- solid effort considering- your 2nd half of the race was impressive- will you do what it takes every day to put yourself in postion to be there in November?

Sheldon- your best race to date period. You raced with fire and determination- commit to staying healthy and doing best when it counts.

AJ- your strength is your strength- I’m so impressed with your work ethic- keep it up and you’ll really herlp us this year.

Doogie- considering how poorly you got out you raced very well- find your groove and stay in it- make sure you’re getting your rest.

Caroline – Solid performance.  You got out strong with the top pack just in your sight.  Don’t be timid, you’ve got all the tools.  Great push at the 800m to get up front.  Keep the confidence up and know that you are in fantastic shape, so run like it.

May – Strong start, right to the front of the pack.  You exploded up the hill and closed the gap with a few when you got to the top.  Great race, over a minute faster!  Keep it up.

Lisa – Awesome start and great push through the first mile.  Keep your head up and keep pushing, the second (and third) miles will come. Great attitude, great race, let’s continue forward on this path.

Katie – Your hard work and perseverance from the summer is starting to pay off!  A great start and a hard push up the hill gave you good position for your strong finish.  This is the Katie we’ve been waiting for!

Xinran – Unbelievable!  Over 1:30 faster than last year!  Definitely 6 steps in the right direction, keep working hard, you are doing awesome!  Don’t lose sight of the pack and keep doing what you’re doing!  Great job.

Crossey – Good race, but watch your start, don’t get all muddled up in the back of the pack.  Use your speed and don’t be afraid to get up to the front.  Once you’re there, you’re there!  And thanks for making it back out of the woods!

Jaedi – Way to get out there and push through the aches and pains.  It feels good to go fast.  Make sure that you take care of yourself, stretching, icing so that you stay healthy to race!  Dropped 15 seconds from last year.  Keep up the good work!

Cai Cai – Good start, great finish!  Take that ferocity and spread it over the entire race, and then you’ll be up in the front pack.   Keep working!

Nana – Solid start to the season.  Don’t forget to maintain your speed on the hills and then attack at the top.  Good finish, way to hold off the impending pack.

Nora – Minute improvement from last year, great job!  I am so proud that despite the aches and pains, the asthma, the whatever, you are out there pushing yourself.  Let’s get you healthy so you can really let it roll.

Sari – Great effort, dropped 20 seconds from last year.  You have all the tools you need to succeed.  Keep working hard in practice, and the times will continue to drop.

Mollie – Hang in there, keep doing the right things, keep pushing in practice, and keep the eyes up.  You’re doing well.  Great first race, let’s build that confidence!

Hightstown Duel

Splits here

Great day kids- I’m proud of the redirection that occured yesterday.  Lets keep it up- breakthroughs are only breakthroughs if you stay on the other side.

Schmidt- good race- you set the tone- you followed intelligently and went for the win- you were focused and determined- if you continue to train and race this way you’ll make a run at 4:30 this year.  Focus and be consistent and it will happen.
Alex- incredible job- you were focused and determined- lets go as far was we can with this- the closer you get to 4:40 the better set up we have for next year and beyond.
Hurshal-if you’re not in it you’re out of it- your splits are misleading- even when you were in the pack you were at the back of it and losing connection with the race. Be focused and compete- the bolder you are in races the bolder you’ll become in other realms- and son- you’re smart, you’re a good athlete- lets do something with your talents.
Grant-very uninspired 1600- if you’re under the impression that sub 5 is something that is going to just show up- just happen-such as arm pit hair -then you’re in for some major disappointments.  You’re right there- you need to require it of yourself- show some intensity for crying out loud.
Austin-ugh- agonizingly close- you were 5 seconds under pace with a lap to go and ran out of gas- a little bit of toughness that last 200 would have put you under.  Lets get it in the next race- make it happen out there. You raced the proper way-  hung on until you died- next time die later and less.
Sameer-great job- you’re coming back fast and furiously- stay after it and lets go after sub 4:40- that’s your goal.
Max- nice work man- we’re going after 10 next week- you’re ready- now lets GO.
Sean Ferg- great job- your last 100m was astonishing- way to recover from Saturday- now lets work on consistently performing at this level.  I’m so proud of your athletic development.
Joe  Ferg- good solid race- now this is a race you can build on Joe.  Keep the upper body nice and relaxed while running- drop your hands a bit.
Maeda- your toughness impresses me- you were so determined and in tune with doing your best- that’s why you’re going to be an outstanding runner- you’re determined to do your best.
Buchbinder-good race- you were in touch wit the comp and fought hard the whole way- I’m exceedingly proud of the year you’ve had- we have just a few weeks left to go after your goal of running under 4:40- lets single-mindedly reach for it.
Doug-best race- in my mind- of your pirate career- it’s a breakthrough if you build on this theme- your effort was absolutely awesome today- you never fought harder! Now that we know we can do it lets get after it.  Your goal are to get to 4:35 and as close to 2:00 as possible.
Foy- big week of training- you’re progressing nicely- lets pay attention and stay healthy- take your recovery time seriously and let’s start thinking about our goals.  9:15 and under 4:20.  If you continue to compete it will happen.
Sheldon-race don’t pace- you’re shooting at the hip- justget out there and roll- way too much left in the last 200- use that in the middle of the race.
Gurbux- whatever it is- fix it.
Grant- outstanding performance!
Ron- you’ll get there- take practices more seriously and sweat the small stuff-it’ll pay dividends these last few weeks.
McKee- you competed with drive and fire- also your shorts were goofy and didn’t match- other than that great race- we’re ready to go after 9:XX- next Friday is out first shot.
DJ Hiller- you can run with Jeff- if you don’t finish with him- start with him- you got gapped too early- even better you could have just sat on the H-town kid and water ski’d to a PR.  Next Friday we’re going after it.
Hurshal- bad day- get over it and go forward.

Shelby- you’re ready for some great performances- consistently apply the mindset of the past few days to the rest of the season and you’ll run 5:20- hang on- stay forward and allow yourself to fight hard the last lap.  Lets focus!
Kaleigh- awesome job- I’m proud of your development- great time- better performance- you tried so hard out there- that’s all  we value and is the most important aspect of performance….effort.
Facheema- ugh………….ugh……… week we’re under to stay under- you were way under with a lap to go- keep at it!!!
T2- we want o be under 11:50 in our next all out 32.  Let’s train for that performance.
Lisa- congrats!!! Awesome job!!
Donnelly- congrats!!! Awesome job!!
Caroline- wowsers- you’re fit! Keep enjoying yourself!
Kaylee- good day- doubles are tough- but can be done if you concentrate!
May Chang- awesome- lets get to the 2:30’s!!!!
Isabella- very good job!- you can run 2:40 this year- keep it up!
Becky- you’re ready to run after the school record- that’s your goal- 2:20!!!!
Sherene- good performance!!!
Julio- nice job- you looked easy and relaxed
Katie- you’re ready for something truly special.  The road to 10:20 starts tomorrow.

Race Comments State Meet

First some quotations for contemplation.

From pg. 365 in Ayn Rand’s Fountainhead.

1. We’ve survived some hardship this winter and emerged stronger.

“All Growth Demands Destruction”.

2. If we have faith in our abilities we can further our dreams this season and beyond.

“We must not think.  We must believe. Believe even if your mind objects. Don’t think, Believe. Trust your heart, not your brain.  Don’t think. Feel. Believe.”

Lawrenceville CVC Batch Meet 1-7-09

Mancuso- 800 was nice- you’re last 3 laps were great- an investment in your first 200 will get you under 2 indoors which will set you up nicely for a great mile and 3200. You looked fit and fast and lets not remember you’re workout on Monday following a 15 miler on Saturday- day by day and workout by workout your fitness and confidence improves- you’re getting there. Get ready for a good one this Saturday.

Schmitty- a little tentative in the 800- again- don’t take the pain personally- you don’t want to be a poet out there- accept it as part of the race and fight through it- just like you did in the 400- you use the mentality you used in the 400 every race you’ll reach any goal you set for yourself. Get out with the good guys and relax this weekend- lets get under 4:40.

Foy- you’re a good runner- a great runner even- if you want to become a great athlete you need to take care of the little things- a good workout run, and especially a race has to be more important than the obvious rewards of a scrumptious cheesesteak- I want you under 4:30 this weekend- come back and be aggressive in the 800- at this point in your high school career you need to embrace each race as a competitive and aggressive search for self- get out there and run after your capabilities.  What do you want to be remembered by?  Cheesesteaks and 2:08’s?? Heck no- that’s not the Kevin Foy I want to remember.

Schoepfer- as we go on you’ll learn to pace yourself to run great times solo- just keep doing what you’re doing and it’ll start really clicking- lets make sure everyone knows who you are when this season’s over.

Doug- Got out well in the 800. perhaps a little top heavy- you were floating forward a bit too much.  Other than that you looked smooth and in control the first half of the race.  The last two you let the difficulty get to you- it’s a matter of getting through it- not letting it get through to you. Fight it tooth and nail! By the end of this season I want you to become someone to fear in the last lap.

McKee- Just a speed workout to get your sharper for out 3200’s coming up- I though you raced aggressively- nice work- lets concentrate on the little stuff in prep for some great 3200’s.

Maeda- two tough races- you did very well in the 800- showed some guts and strength- you weren’t afraid to mix it up- keep these themes in mind and we’ll get under 2:05 tyhis year which would be great for a frosh!!!

Buchbinder- very aggressive race- your finish time doesn’t do your race justice- you went after it and suffered a little in the last 20% of your race- continue to go after and you’ll suffer later and later with each race- great work- lets work towards those goals we discussed!!!

Sean Fergs- strong race- lets prepare for race day a little better- jeans to a meet spells out “not really taking competition too seriously” which I know isn’t your mindset. The mental game is dictated by your physical actions- prepare to do your best and you’ll race your best.  Admirable effort.  Great start to our season goals.

Kalder- keep racing like that and you’ll one day run 2:20 or under- you really went after it !

Becky- great job- way to fight that last lap- with increased fitness and time spent at pace you”’ run significantly faster- lets work on getting to the 400 in about 70.  If you can do that then you’ll be able to tap into your tow path strength.

Gabi- great race- keep running aggressively.

Shelby- you’re tough and in great shape- just know it- relax and it’ll come out in your races.  Keep preparing as well as you’re doing and you’ll run way under 2:20 / 5:10 this year- start to believe it upstairs.

Heather- you have to get out better- we’ll start working on this in practice more- the better you get out the more likely you are to run with the good competition- which is where you belong.  Get out stay out and show some gets at the end!!! You’re working yourself into some great shape!!!

Tingy- great work- this speed will come back to help you a great deal once your 3200’s start. Good aggressive race. Your maturity is really showing.

Sahana- have faith in your gift- a truly great person embraces their talents- have fun with racing but test your limits- don’t be scared to mess up- I know you want to do well- have the courage to let that out in your competition and you’ll do incredible things!!! Competition is about testing yourself first- once your able to push yourself to your limits than you’re more likely to test yourself against others.

Jalder- you’re doing great! Keep having fun and competing hard-you’re really shifting into high gear!

Sorry if I missed a few- I’ll fill in more later. Individual comments below- to the team- I feel as if we would have done a time trial- or if we would have entred a less competitive race we would have ran significantly faster- competition should breed increase in performance- I think we got flustered- we need to embrace the challenges of racing and keep it cimple- HAVE FUN OUT THERE- MAKE IT FUN. Hell- smile when you start to feel negative- anything- nonetheless- with a pretty bad race- we managed to be competitive- just not as competitive as last week.  Lets finish this season with vigor and enthusiasm!

Mancuso- could have gotten out better- lack of concentration allowed others to squeeze in front of you- I was sure you and Kevin would get under 13 today- if you look at the results- it’s where you belong- it’s where you deserve to be.

Foy- I know you were disappointed– I don’t need to tell you what you already know- recognize any errors ou made- lets work to fix them- you have to have fun out there- we didn’t have fun- we dwelled, stewed, etc- I don’t need to tell you where I thought you should have been- look at the results- we’ll get there.

Schoepfs- not sure where you fell- I hope it was in the begining- becuase if not you abandoned our race plan early- have faith, fun, you’re talented, tough, and in the best shape of your life. I’ve been involved with this sport a long time- I’m not b.s.-ing you.  You’re good- you’re tough.  Period. When I tell you this you can’t look me in the eye- believe it brother.

McKee- I put us in this race in your recommendation- I recommended you in turn got out well and ran with whom you belonged- you got out horribly- guys key off you on this team- we depend on you- you’re out rock- continue to do so.

Schmitty- you said it already- we can’t have this happen- you know this- thanks for acknowledging it.

Margiotta- you ran a tad uninspired today- it was a self-conscious race- be confident- make it fun– challenge yourself- allow yourself to hurt- seek it- thrive on it but don’t think it offers any hint of whats to come- the guys who can get through the midrace hurt the best- those who can strategize to deal with it best are the most successful racers. I think you got intimidated out there.

Wallack- solid race- much better- but if you’re going to help us get to where we need to be you have to start holding it together a little better- I think you’re doubting yourself a wee bit out there- you’re tough and talented- you’ve worked incredibly hard- time to hustle.

Nate- nice work- we’ll need a big step out of you this weekend- you’re tightening up a little in the middle- relax your face more- everything will follow- you’re having a great senior year!

Buchbinder- solid race- look how your time adds up to our present varsity runners- pretty impressive! We need a big one- a breakthrough this Friday.

S. Fergs- your best race ever- awesome performance. All your work is catching up to you- you and your bro continue to do everything right.

DJ- Solid race- but not your best. You’re a senior- take some risks and lets get to the bottom of whats at the bottom of DJ.

Sameer- You’re running withought confidence- you’ll get it back with accomplishment- latch on to a teammate- shut the brain off- and ‘water ski’.

Hurshal- not your best race- you got out rough and never intently made up ground.

Aditya- time to start racing intently- get in there and be competitive.

Keith- got our great- brought our team with you- but I think when you stopped running someof your team did as well- latch onto the varsity this friday- stop paying attention to how you feel and make your last few weeks as a Pirate memorable.

Joe Fergs- I don’t have to tell you where you belong- when things weren’t going your way early- you stopped racing- you mentally tanked- stay postive and embrace the challenge- you’ve earned the right to race well by doing everything right.

Alex- uninspired race- you went through the motions- challenge yourself!

Gurbux- ditto- had a rought ime getting out and you let it dictate your remaining effort.

Callahan- find your uniform bottoms.

Sleps- get in there and keep going forward- build your confidence through effort and accomplishment.

Wulfy- ok performance- we though you into the big league!

Shore Coaches 10/4/08

Well- all in all this meet went about as well as could expect at this oint in the season.  Dames and Dudes both recorded runner-up finishes to ranked teams and the girls nearly pulled off a win- something I feel we would have done had it not been for a few injuries to key competitors.

Something for the girls to look at

Something for the dudes to look at (below)- especially important is how Mainland (Waytonville) is always just a little better than Phillipsburg (Siegelbury)…just kidding (not really).  We beat some very good teams on a relatively ambitious and fat training regimen- we’re still working hard now- we need to continue this for the next three-four weeks before we start to concentrate on our racing.  If we do this and maintain our health we should be a contender on both sides of the gender line. Congrats to the girls team who ran a school record team average (yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay) beating the old best of (Groups 2003 (2nd place) WEST WINDSOR-PLAINSBORO S 153 1 4 21 58 69 72 85 Total Time: 1:42:50.00 Average: 20:34.00) 5 years ago.

Boys Varsity Comments.

Foy- You got out great- at the bottom of the bowl you were ready to run in the low 16’s- after your meeting with the Old Man you let that front pack get away from you- a little concentration and focus and you stay (stay stay stay) with that pack- you have the fitness and toughness to run with anyone- you’ll do that in the next 6 weeks.

Mancuso- 80 percent of a great race- nonetheless a very solid race- you need to start believing BIG.  You can do as much as you want- lets take some chances and find out how great we are- next week we need to use your speed to get out well- we’ll blend your speed with your growing strength and become on of the state’s in a few weeks- little by little.  Geat start. Lets slowly and patiently build on it, relaxed and smooth, relaxed and smooth.

Schoepfs- you’re a stud- you’re a standout- you’re talented- you’re tough.  I think you’re still only half way convinced of these truths. You just moved into 8th all-time for a PIRATE. Know that by Groups you ned to be physically and mentally prepared to run what Foy and Mancuso ran yesterday- you run 16:30 and we’re in the running! You can do it- I know you can. You need to know you know you can as much as I know you know you can know.  Get it?

McKee- HEEEEY JEFF .you’re funny- you’re smart, you’re durable- you’re enthusiastic- you embody everything I value in an athlete- your contributions are immeasurable. Yesterday you did everything right- lets keep working and build on our fitness to squeeeeeze another 20 seconds out of you by ‘go time’.  Just keep doing what you’re doing.  Keep the morning runs going and the mileage up.  You’re having a great senior year.

Schmitty- I like when i dish out an order and a kid responds- I like it evenbetter when a kid responds after running up the old man- you have faith, toughness and confidence- you can break 17 this year- stay the course- do the right thing- and commit to the little stuff and we’ll make history this year.  You’re doing great- your last mile was pure Pirate- tough tough tough and hungry.

Max- a good bad race.  It took me years to get to this point.  When I started at South the kids were running their finished place from the gun- never challenging themselves- you mixed it up and went for it- the bottom dropped off after the bowl- there will come a time where you hold together- if you continue to run with the courage you had today you’ll run 40-50 seconds faster in a month- lets train, live, eat, sleep like we know this.  Our 6th guy today, but you were our 4th guy for more than half of the race- awesome job!

Wallack- same as Max- who’s been doing this a lot longer than you- you’re fot- you’re strong as an ox- you need to stay the course when you start to crumble- hold it together- stay forward- use the athletes around you to coax you forward- you ran a great bad race- race don’t pace- I said this more in the first two years at South then I ever thought possible- you embodied this message yesterday- continue to do so and you’ll respond- I’m proud of you.

Varsity Girls Comments

Big K. – You got out great!  Pushed up the first hill and made the front pack dwindle down to 2!  Just after the first mile and again after the bowl, you pushed and pushed hard.  Prentice didn’t stand a chance once she knew what hit her.  You have all the tools, keep using them and keep up that confidence!  This is the Kellner we love to see.

Caroline – Unbelievable!  19:43 your first time at Holmdel!  Good start, we’ll work on the leg speed.  With a mile to go, you were in 11th and then made the move up to the front of the pack.  You put yourself out on the line, finished exhausted and I’m so proud that you pushed that hard!  We will work on the turnover and the leg speed, but keep doing what you’re doing!

Tingy – Great race, kiddo!  Your fitness is there, your aerobic capacity keeps building.  I think we got the Boston out of your legs!  You have the toughness and confidence and you will definitely break 21 at Holmdel later this year.  Good to see that you are stepping up the intensity and pushing Shelby and Becky.  Great job!

Shelbs – Good tough race.  Great race on a bum knee.  To tell you the truth, I was very surprised that you got out on the course Saturday.  I am blown away by your determination and strong will to compete and to succeed.  Keep icing and monitoring the pain.  You are a strong and confident runner, and you bleed pirate!  Keep up that spirit and the intensity (cross training or whatever) and let’s get you back to 100%.

Beck – You’re strong, you’re tough, you’re talented.  No matter the obstacle, you’re there giving all you can.  I think the worst is behind us and we can use the awesome strength you’ve built to push forward.  Keep up there with Shelby and Tingy, you three are a great pack.  Know that you are great and run with confidence!  Great race.

Julio – You looked great!  You pushed it in the beginning and stayed with the front pack.  Don’t just think that you can make it there, be there!  You have earned your way into the top seven, continue to use your strength and confidence and keep up the intensity.  Set your sights on the three in front of you, and go for it!

Calder – A good race.  We need to get you healthy so that you can have a great race.  You have all the tools, we just need to build the toughness (and make your knees indestructible.)  Don’t get discouraged, keep your eyes on the next race.  Keep the mind clear and keep taking care of yourself!  We’ll get you back soon enough!
